At Higher Openshaw Community School we pride ourselves on bringing our curriclum to life through experiential learning. This is the idea that experiences are generated through pupils ongoing interactions and engagement with the world around us, and learning is an inevitable product of this experience. Children are able to make links through their learning in the real world and make connections in the classroom.
We look to create opportunities for our pupils to enjoy experiences that broaden their horizons and offer give children the chance to develop passions and intrests in the wider world.
